Tactical Sec Ops (4-5 Novembre 2015)

(Course materials are in English)

This year we are happy to present you "Tactical Sec Ops" by Secure Ideas!

How often have you found yourself justifying the time needed to fix a vulnerability to management or looking through a system trying to decide if its been compromised or not? Or being surprised when new systems suddenly appear on the network? Tactical Sec Ops is about making these problems easier to deal with and being prepared to respond when they do. You will learn how to use open source software to speed your ability to get things done and protect your environment! Among the various topics, the course will cover:

- Distributed network scanning using nmap
- Using Metasploit to demonstrate vulnerability risk
- Performing network traffic analysis
- Analyzing systems for signs of compromise
- Automation using Python
- Strategies for planning your security operations

Jason Wood will be the instructor of this class. He will be guiding the students in this VERY hands-on session. The course will contain two days of materials and practical exercises. The exercises will allow the students to apply the tools and techniques they learned and combine them to solve real problems.
