Amateur Radio Village
The amateur radio village is the ideal place to learn about the technologies available to operators. You’ll be able to immerse yourself in this often little-known universe, where the possibilities are limitless. Come and talk to experienced operators on a wide range of subjects.
Exam session
- Have you completed the training and would like to take your exam?
- Do you have experience in electronics, are self-taught, and have always wanted to become a radio amateur?
- There is an exam session allowing Hackfest participants to take their exam on site at Hackfest

The first part introduces fiber optics, its components and uses. What are its characteristics, types of fiber, lasers and optical connectors?
The second part shows the main measuring devices, followed by demonstrations explaining how to perform and interpret OPM, OTDR and OLM measurements, how to clean an optical fiber, and the different measurement techniques used for maintenance and monitoring of fiber optic networks.
